We are married!!

Wow. What a whirlwind past couple of weeks.

Let's see...

I graduated...

Got married...

Spent 11 days in Hawaii...

and just came home to a horrifying mess in our apartment.

Boxes, gifts, laundry, luggage, Billy sleeping on the couch :)

Now that all the madness is over, I promise to be faithful to this lil ol blog of mine. I have a lot of pictures to share... but for now, I will leave you with the FAB and I mean FAB photos by Carli and Joe of Shutterlove. I am so happy with how everything came out. Especially the pictures. I recommend Shutterlove to ANYONE searching for wedding, baby, engagement, family, or just everyday photos. Check out what they did for our wedding and I am sure you will agree :)

Also, a HUGE shoutout to Rohn himself. John helped organize and basically get my flikr account going. He also added some of his handiwork to the mix. Momma T just added our Hawaii ones too!

ENJOY!

8 years

On April 8, 2001, I was running around
my high school track
staring at a really skinny,
but cute boy.

... 8 years later...

I am 45 days away from becoming his
not-as-fast-as-I-used-to-be,
wife.

(i still think you're pretty darn cute)

p.s. this website acknowledged my DIY farewell flags that i wrote about on Inspired Goodness. They voted my project DIY of the week!

I'm a Winner!

I have never won anything. Nothing substantial at least.

At work last weekend there was a contest... and I WON :0)

Check out what is coming my way ...

In the words of Jessie Spannow

"I'm SO EXCITED!"

P.S. Be on the look out for some VIP (very important paper)
in the mail over the next week and a half... 2 months to go!!

3 months to go...

Wow

It is amazing how fast our wedding is approaching yet incredible to see all of my ideas and projects come to fruition. I feel like I, (I mean we), have been planning for ages...

For the past few months I have been covered in Gocco ink, cut thousands of sheets of paper, sewed like a mad-woman, painted, assembled, and glued like crazy.

I wish I could share all of my progress...but I want some things to be a "surprise"

And to all you DIY'ers out there... prepare to have your home look a little something like this...

can we say "Lindsay needs her very own craft room?!"

OH...if anyone was thinking about getting me a wedding gift (and I mean ME)...this is what I am currently drooling over

Inspiration Board

When people ask "what are your wedding colors?" It is usually followed by "...oh."

(tumbleweed. tumbleweed. cricket. cricket.)

yeah, I know, I am boring-safe-neutral-blah-whatever. But just because I am not a pink gal, doesn't mean my taste is crap. In fact, I am adore our color palette.
It is clean, natural, whimsical, soft, classy, and calming.

Here is a little peek...

( I have linked all of the photos through my Inspired Goodness post-- excuse my laziness)

Are you as excited as I am to see this all come together??

3 months and 20 days :)

p.s. i have tried 4x to get these photos to post the way i want... and this is NOT it.
I am giving up. surry it looks like madness.
